Neurodivergence is not a deficit, it’s a difference. The Square Model, created by psychologists Monique Mitchelson and Anna Clarke, aims to showcase and address the underlying needs of Autistic and ADHD people in therapy, including in the treatment of trauma.
Our upcoming resources detail the sensory needs, executive functioning needs, and communication needs that Neurodivergent people require to access therapy. The Square Model addresses the important element of increased risk of burnout in Neurodivergent people.
All of this is delivered compassionately in our upcoming webinar, with one extremely important element that sets us apart - we’re both psychologists who have lived experience.
